As a graphic designer and writer, Valerie has spent years, making handcrafted greeting cards of the humorous, often quirky variety. She wanted to bring that knack of seeing the humor in everyday situations to her first novel.

JEL•EEETrying to spin the magic of lemons to lemonade - or the even more ambitious lemon meringue pie - is clearly not working. Lainey Evans, stuck with what she believes is a vanity plate reject, (JEL-EEE), has become a magnet for ridicule. It doesn’t help that she works in a diner.
While she loves her job, she also knows there’s more for her in the bigger scheme of life. But despite countless continuing education classes, she hasn’t found her niche. As the fate of the diner becomes an issue, she’s pushed into uncertainty with her next step. Was the license plate some kind of cosmic joke? And, are all those cryptic messages other vanity plates, now screaming at her, telling her something? |
